This stately greystone had been the victim of numerous piecemeal renovations by previous owners. The new owners expressed a desire for a more cohesive design in their gathering spaces. We suggested a simple, modern aesthetic with warm finishes and classic detailing to complement the owners’ vintage furnishings and eclectic art. This design aesthetic was extended to the new master bath where a marble-clad soaking tub shares a glass-tiled wall with the open shower.
