Saving this historic flatiron building became Kim Nigro’s mission as soon as she heard that the former bank in her small Missouri hometown might face the wrecking ball. Kim offered her firm’s services. She quickly drew up plans and created renderings that were presented to the City Council to show what the refurbished building could become. The building was saved, and it has been granted Federal Historic Preservation status. The full restoration is slated for completion in 2020.
